The Organisation Mahila Unnayan Pathagar (MUP) is a non-profit making philanthropic women development organization based at Ambapada in Gondia block of Dhenkanal district with the philosophy of providing services to the people of all walks of life at time of distress and deprivation. MUP has started functioning in the year 1985 and got registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 in the year 1987 to give a clear and effective form its activities and management.
Basically MUP is a women organization consisting of volunteers with the spirit of dedication for working at the community level to implement different development and welfare programmes for up-liftment of social, economic, cultural, educational and scientific outlook both in quantitative and qualitative terms for improvement of socio-economic, health, education of the SC, ST, vulnerable and other backward people in general and women folk in specific of Odisha state
